DH and I have decided to move to the different city. Looks like we'll be closer to my parents and back in the OC...we won't have any money (and our house will be tiny) but at least there is so much to do there! I'm excited!
DH's high up boss (CFO) changed DH's work hours. It sucks for him because he leaves later which means more traffic. But I'm also not liking it. We still wake up at 5 (why, I don't know) so now he comes over to the coffee table after his "bathroom time" and wants to talk about all things moving and work. I don't mind spending time with him but it could be much more quality time if he's going to interrupt my "me time". On the plus side...it means there's actually time for sex now before bedtime when we both don't have any energy.

My friend who lives in San Diego is back in our hometown for the holidays! No one told me which makes me angry, but I did get to set up a brunch with her on Sunday. YEAH!
I had to go to the post office to get stamps. I was worried it was going to be crazy in there, but they had a booth in the lobby where you could buy stamps with a card. I only had to wait behind one person. It made it so much faster.
luv2rn4fun Exciting news on the move!!! I understand what you mean on the schedule. When DH has a professional partner at dance, his hours are drastically different at night. When he doesn't it really makes lots of changes. I've had a couple of different variations of scheduled throughout the years to accommodate it.
I'm watching my recording of The Wiz Live! While pumping and folding laundry. E is at daycare because I needed baby free time to get housework done.
This sounds amazing. I wonder if there is a drop in daycare near me I could use one or two mornings a week for housework or meal prep. Is yours drop in, or regularly scheduled and you just choose whether or not to take him?

Lots of the churches around us always have Mother's Day out programs listed on their signs. It's usually for one or two mornings a week and toddler age, I believe. You could prob check into something like that.

Regularly scheduled. I pay for full time care and he goes the days I work, and sometimes on my days off too if I need the free time. We have to pay for full time because a) this daycare doesn't actually have a part time option, and b) all the part time options we looked at don't work with a nurse's varying schedule anyway.
This week, I work WThSa, so in order to make it worth the cost, I like him to go at least 3 days a week. Today was the "3rd" day.
Ditto wanderingenough that you should look into mother's day out programs.
