Me neither. I keep counting in my head because it normally bores me to sleep but nothing. I'm about to go downstairs and watch more Being Mary Jane.
Also: it might help but Ambien can be a little scary. My husband took it and slept walked and talked on his sleep and twitched. Anecdotes but his doctor said it wasn't uncommon.
Dude. Take an ambien, have a glass of wine, go to bed. TRUST ME!!! I know what I'm doing. Don't forget to set your alarm, though. (hot)
Don't mix ambien and alcohol for real. Especially if you've never taken ambien before and there's no one else in the house in case of emergency.
Oh yes. Totally agree. Ambien and alcohol can be dangerous. But. Based on my personal experience I feel comfortable recommending one ambien and one glass of wine for my insomniac friend. But definitely read the FDA warnings first. For sure.

One or the other, but not both, please. Seriously, don't do that. And if you take an ambien, my advice would be to quite literally take it and climb into bed. Do not stay up waiting for it to kick in. Because those stories of people doing crazy stuff while they're on it and not remembering the next day, well, I can tell you about my trip to Canada that I arranged after taking one. Even the next day I had ab-so-lute-ly no recollection of any of it.
OP, I hope your sleep improves one way or another.
