I like Ikea for sheers and sometimes solids. West Elm for prints. I have always been really pleased with the quality of Pottert Batn curtains. They are pricier, but there are often good deals at the PB outlets if you have access to one.
Well, I had good luck at West Elm! I was really pleased with Target's selection too.
What kind/color/print are you looking for and we can help you look?
I'd like a print but nothing "stuffy" haha.
Here is my bedspread- in light amethyst (purple)
Here is the chair in the room. It has a deep purple (looks black in the photo), red and a yellowish cream line in it. Note the floor and trim color. I need to stay away from yellows in the curtains
I kind of like these from jcp, but idk if it is too much purple
I've had my best luck at Target, honestly. Some BB&B, but they tend to be a bit expensive IMO.
I have some JCPenney curtains, but recently took them to be dry cleaned - the cleaner said she has experience with the liners (of the insulated ones) being ruined by the dry cleaning process. Just something to be aware of.
Is everything staying long term? The bedding and the chair?
That's really hard to match together... I think I'd go for a neutral pattern so even if you change things up later, you won't have to change up the curtains.
The chair is here forever. The bedding I will change out every few years.
IKEA. - cheap, 1 million options Burlington Coat Factory - TONS of styles lots of fancy sets, about half the price of other places Christmas Tree Shoppe- hit or miss, but TONS of shears if that's what you are looking for.
I find Target Curtains overpriced for what you get.
