Update: today someone else's profile is listed, so either she is just trying to flatter lots of people or FB links is being weird. Crisis averted, I hope. -----
Okay so my cooling off lasted until M went to bed. Lol. I do not know how to handle this situation delicately. Help!
There is a family friend who I speak to on Facebook relatively often (as in pic comments, status comments, not messages). Her family stays in close contact with my parents and to burn a bridge with her could hurt my parents.
She started selling a MLM makeup brand a few months ago and she won't leave me alone. I finally told her bluntly I was not interested and please stop asking me to buy things because I won't change my mind. Great, she stopped for like two months... Until tonight. I see this pop up:*removed to prevent googling*
And the link was MY profile! I thought maybe a generic link to anyone's, nope, mine.
Honestly, I would probably leave a comment on the status for the world to see that said something like, "Thank you for your kind compliments, but as we have already discussed this is not a venture I am interested in pursuing. I hope that you will respect my wishes and please know that if I ever am interested I will not hesitate to be the one to reach out to you."
Oh my goodness. So obnoxious! I really like what katespade wrote. That is really classy and not rude. Very tactful way to say NO, stop bugging me! Much kinder than I would do...
Wow that is so messed up. I can see the whole no matter who clicks on it it goes to their profile but to change it so that it only goes to yours is weird.
