China is completely destroying the South China Sea

The reef is dead and torn to pieces by the poachers. The BBC journalist said it's like a desert under the water. They are poaching giant clams. Last year they were caught with 500 giant sea turtles which are endangered and protected. When the poachers were caught, China demanded their release.

This is horrific.

Not surprised sadly. There has been a lot of emphasis on sustainable fishing in Hong Kong recently but I'm sure it is too little too late

I heard that on NPR, the journalist sounded in shock. So heartbreaking. I guess jokes on them when they kill off the entire sea and their food supply runs out

Have they not learned...you can't engineer things without consequences. The one child policy, their horrible smog problem. Not to mention they've got entire cities that are just empty.
