I LOVED this season. Everything about it. The music, the cinematography, the acting, the story. I loved Patrick Wilson. I was really impressed by Kirsten Dunst and I usually don't like her acting.
I really like Bokeem Woodbine, did not see Mike's ending coming. It was brilliant.
I even liked the UFO story line. Apparently that was based on an UFO siting that happened in 1979 in Minnesota.
I have a friend who on FB said that she understands why people don't watch this show. Once you do, you'll compare everything else you watch to it and only be disappointed. Can't disagree.
I feel like episode 9 was the REAL climax, though. 10 wrapped things up- not necessarily in a nice little bow, but you got a sense of where everyone was going.
And Moses Tripoli!! Must have had a lot of plastic surgery to end up looking like he did in Season 1. I read an article today that had guessed that Bear or - oh who was the other person... - might have ended up being Moses. The look was right. But um, yeah. No. Not him!

Agreed. But so, so good this season. I wonder what will happen next season.

I'm not done with this season yet, but so far I'm not as into this season as much as I was the last. It needs more humor weaved into the drama. I loved the ep where drunk Nick Offerman was negotiating with the Fargo gang outside of the police station, though.

I liked it a lot but think they could have wrapped up the show in 9 eps instead of 10. I thought the ending was dragged out. And whoa to Kirsten dunst showing her crazy cakes at the end in the freezer with the smoke.

Hysterical.
Although one of my favorite lines from this season came from Ed and Peggy in the cabin (episode 8, I think). In case you aren't there yet, I won't repeat it.
I was a little let down, at first, by the ending. But having slept on it, I now think it was brilliant. Especially Peggy's speech at the end, which we can all kind of identify with, that came crashing down with Lou's simple, "people are dead, Peggy." Like you can sympathize with her struggle, but not at the cost she caused. And her acting was stunning.
I also loved to convo between Noreen and Mrs. Solverstein. Her somewhat fatalistic ridiculousness on the lack of meaning in life vs. Mrs. S's real life experience with dying. So well done.
