I do not GET these toys. We have them and they don't DO anything. And they are too small to pretend play with. I'm hoping once we get the barbie house set up they get more play.

Yes this! How did they become so popular? DD saw them on disney collector and when she had birthday money she picked some out. She knew exactly what they were and wanted then more than anything else. DS is 2. He is now obsessed with DD's. Their friends love them. They are so freaking small. I have no idea how we haven't lost all of them yet.
AC Moore where I live has them as of this morning, limit 2 per customer. I got the email last night and on a whim after dropping off DD3 at daycare, stopped by to get some for DD1 and DD2 just as the store opened and people were waiting, lol Thankfully I was in and out and able to use my rewards. The girls love them and the idea of collecting them. They go nuts when they get a really "rare" one They use them too when playing with Barbies.

*shakes fist* goddamn you, Shopkins!! Keira and Bonnie are so crazy into them. They pretend play with them all day long. They set up whole Shopkins villages all over my freaking living room. And then I step on them.
