Wdyt of this cork purse?

My boss got it for me for Christmas.

I think I like it. It's different. I've carried the plain tote from Madewell for the last few years, so this is definitely "flashy" compared to that, lol.

I love cork purses (I saw some beautiful ones in Lisbon) but this is, uh, not one of my faves. It doesn't look like actual cork but it hard to tell from a picture.

I have vera bradley stuff and wouldn't choose that. So take my opinion for what it's worth.

Well, shit. My first instinct was NMS but mh said he thought it was ok and a few people have said they liked it so I thought maybe I was wrong. I should have gone with my gut.

What do I do?!? There are 3 people in my office so she will know if I don't carry it. She is soooo proud of this purse and has made lots of comments like, ""I know you carry one purse for a long time so I knew this one would hold up for a few years!"

My first reaction was omg, no. But then I thought I was maybe wrong.

I drink a lot so she would probably believe I spilled red wine. Although she is the type that she may just buy me another one.

My understanding is it's actually cork. She said the woman who sold it to her said cork is manufactured to have a leather-like consistency but ethically made.

Yeah, I thought the zippers were throwing me off but I think it's the whole thing.

I've never seen a purse, other than the Madewell tote, that I thought was my style so I really didn't trust my judgement on this.
