I'm pregnant during the opposite season, so while last time I was huge in the summer and could get away with fold over cotton skirts and the like, but I needed a bit more this time for winter.
I ended up re-using a few maternity shirts, but bought all new pants because now I wear skinny jeans and my stuff from being pregnant with C seemed like wide leg pants! I also found that I was able to get by with more demi panel stuff last time (likely due to above mentioned cotton skirts/dresses), but this time I definitely needed full panel much sooner. I tried not to spend much money, but also work in a somewhat "casual" business casual work environment, so I didn't need to invest in very nice maternity clothes.

The stuff from my first pregnancy didn't fit during my second. I was the same weight but carried it differently. I reused some but bought a lot of new for my third pregnancy. I sah with my second and needed office clothes for this pregnancy. Plus I'm having twins so I'm sure I will have to buy more by the end.
I rewore most of it. I had a couple of shirts that shrank weird that I did not wear.
I did have to fill in some gaps. A lot of my clothes from my first pregnancy are work clothes since I was working. They're also most long sleeves/pants since we were living in a Muslim country at the time. My second and third pregnancies were in the spring/summer in the southern US, so I bought some shorts/shirts/tank tops/knee-length skirts.

I mostly bought new stuff. I was 10 lbs and two sizes smaller at the start of my second pregnancy (lol, that lasted until about the end of first tri...I weighed exactly the same on the day I delivered both times), and I also showed much later with my first pregnancy, so I got away with a lot of non-maternity stuff until the last 5 weeks or so. This time I broke out the maternity pants at, like, 6 weeks
ETA: Oh, and I carry a ton of weight in my ass and thighs when I'm pregnant, so I had to have pants in three sizes to get all the way through my pregnancies. I basically went up a size every trimester. It suuuuuuuucked.
I'm reusing, although I didn't like most of the tops I had from the first time around so I bought a bunch of new tops. I also didn't have a lot of maternity clothes last time as I ended up on hospital bedrest at 23 weeks and never got really big (since my kid ended up only being 2 pounds... not because I'm tiny).

I got fairly lucky both times and ended up with hammy downs I liked. Last time I was pg in the summer and purchased 3 pairs of work pants and 2 dresses, maybe 2-3 shirts. This time I'm completely opposite season so can't wear the dresses but have only bought a handful of things-skinny jeans and work pants, a cute flannel, leggings, and a shirt for Disney.

I'm reusing most of my maternity clothes this time around, as my stuff is only 2 years old and the seasons match up. Plus I'm SAH right now, so it doesn't make sense to buy new stuff. I have bought a few random pieces though, because I had a relatively small maternity wardrobe, and was still sick of wearing the same few pieces over and over again.
First time I bought a lot of nice clothes as I was in a job that required more formal attire and TBH, I'm a bit of a clothes horse. But I was on the fence about #2 and leaning towards no so I sold what I could afterward. I'd say I sold half of my stuff.
Now I've pulled out what's left and there are some decent pieces that I'm reusing but like @vicmo the pants are flares and feel out of style plus I had a late August baby last time and am having an early June baby this time so things aren't quite matching up for the seasons.
I've bought quite a few new things this time and am hoping to get a gift card for Christmas to round out my wardrobe. This time I'm sticking to more reasonably priced brands and also scored a few great items at a consignment shop.
I reused most of it and bought a few things on sale too. I think I spent about $200-$300 each time. This time I had to buy 2 formal dresses for BIL's wedding.

I saved my maternity clothes but did have buy new ones as well. My pregnancies were over 5 years apart so I didn't like some of the items any more and it was completely the opposite season (DD1 was born in June, DD2 was born in January).
My sister had a baby just before I got pregnant so she gave me what she had. The best find though was a pair of yoga pants at Costco. They were the Costco brand and they had no markings on them anywhere. I bought 2 pairs and those were what I wore to work.
Not on round two yet, but I plan to buy new. Almost everything I bought was clearance from Target, Motherhood, Old Navy and JCPenney. The jeans I bought got really stretched out (and kind of worn between the legs, they were SUCH thin denim), a lot of my shirts had little stains right where my giant belly started to stick out at the end - and all the tank tops, I've just carried on wearing them. They make such nice, long layering pieces!

I bought the cheapest, fewest things I could to get by with number 1. Everything looked horrible so I didn't see the point in spending $$$. I'm 10 pounds up at the start of this of than the last so I'm hoping that's close enough for the sizes to match, but the seasons are opposite (jan /July) so I'm not sure how much I'll be able to reuse, probably not much.

I'm in opposite seasons and started heavier the second time around. That said, I've been able to use about half of the stuff from before and bought quite a few things to fill it out. I'm already getting too big for some things and I have 9 more weeks but I refuse to go out and buy more. The second I get home I change into sweats and a tank with a hoodie.

I'm reusing as much as I can, but I might have to unwillingly do some shopping. Last time I ended up with two sizes of pants. Around 20 weeks,my hips widened considerably and I had to go from Medium to Large jeans. It was so sudden. This time at only 10 weeks, some of my Medium jeans are too tight in the hips already
I'm going to need more summer stuff for when I'm huge so... Hoping for some consignment finds in a few months. And thanks to this thread, I'm very tempted to invest in at least one good pair of jeans since I live in them.
I reused a fair amount, some dresses, pants and shirts. I bought a few more jeans and shirts, some to replace worn clothes and sometimes I was just really sick of the same damn clothes. Plus, this time I wanted some leggings and tunics, which I did not have the first time around.
I didn't really invest in anything expensive. But on a regular day, I buy from Old Navy, Kohl's and Target, so nothing new really.
My maternity clothes were pretty much all Target, Gap, and ON. I used them both pregnancies.
Kid 1 was a July baby and #2 was an October baby. Toward the end of my second, I wore a lot of cardigans over maternity tanks/shirts to get through the cooler weather.

I bought some new jeans/black pants on super sale at Gap. A couple of other things too at Old Navy.
I got super lucky and a friend of a friend who happened to be the exact same size gave my friend a bag of clothes with the most perfect fitting pants ever and a bunch of other stuff. My friends have always been super generous with sharing maternity clothes which has been so nice and helpful. I hope I can return the favor although at this point not sure how many are really left.

My seasons were totally the same and I reused everything. I added a few items and donated a few items each time based on what I liked, but it seemed silly to start over.
