I love all your boy's names. In fact I think we discussed all of them but either they sounded bad with our last name or DH vetoed (and then we had a girl anyway).
I don't love either Avery or Nora, but they're both fine. I would not do Avery and Blake together because they can both be used for boys or girls and I wouldn't want people getting mixed up on which was which.
This would not register for me at all. Would the average person really care? I would probably avoid a reference to a huge movie like Star Wars, but a TV show wouldn't be a big deal.
I wouldn't care but my husband (who would only realize it when he googled) would. Our second's potential name got vetoed because "Ben and Kate" debuted and "Ben and Matt" were synonymous with Affleck and Damon. We ended up going Biblical again.
FWIW, I like Nora and Owen together.
Ha! I have a Ben and Matt(hew) was in consideration for #2 but it's a little rhymey with our last name so I vetoed it weeks ago. But I totally didn't even think of Affleck and Damon!
Out of your boy name options I like Owen the best.
I think of Leighton as a girl name so I would either pair it with Nora or leave it off.
I like the suggestion upthread of Eleanor with a nickname of Nora. I'm a lover of classic names though so I'm drawn to Eleanor/Nora over Avery.
Eleanor Joy or Eleanor Lynn Caleb William or Owen William
Jackson/Eleanor/Caleb sound great together. They'd all have an option for nicknames too: Jack/Nora/Cal.
As an Eleanor mom, I like this idea
I like both of your girl names, and for boys, I like Owen and Isaac best, with either William or Charles as the middle name for either.
If your DS1 already has a name for your side of the family, do you need to make sure that one of the twins has a name from your DH's side of the family (so Lynn instead of Joy)?
Yes, definitely. We're leaning pretty strongly towards Avery though, so that's MIL's middle name.
William is my side for middle name, the other middle names are DH's side.

Now I'm curious, what were your girl names, if you don't mind me asking?
