I have been meaning to ask how your current job is going? Do you think it will turn into a permanent role, or still too soon to tell?
Well I got cc'ed on the department staffing plan which doesn't show any new positions on my team...I did get responsibility for a project yesterday that makes my travel to LV in April more of a possibility though...so end date is not set.
I applied to a job this morning just because it's down the street from my house. Basically, I'm looking for other opps but not seriously job searching.
1. Meeting baby boy!! 2. Spending more time with DD (and DS) as she'll drop to 3 days of daycare for 3 months of ML and then 0 days of daycare during the summer 3. 6 month off of work

I am also looking but not seriously searching. Not having to search for hours a day is a relief.
I don't actually mind my current job, but their turnaround plan has not taken off at all, and they are slipping far below the break even in sales. I can see a work slowdown in just the 2 months I have been here, so that is depressing.
I hope we can get settled in 2016. It's been long enough.
No. More. Pumping!!!!!!!!!! 15 days of pumping left. If I even make it that far, my supply is dropping and I honestly don't care enough to try to bring it back.
Losing weight after I wean, I feel so gross still, 10 lbs to go.
TTC again, hopefully with success.
And, hopefully, another good financial year for us.

A week ago, I would have said climbing Mt. Hood. I've wanted to do that my whole life and I think 2016 is the year. But right at the moment, I'm looking forward to not having Hand, Foot, Mouth Disease anymore even more.
I am really hopeful that this will be the year we get to move. We've lived in the same apartment in a metro area I am done with for 9.5 years and counting. An even 10 and I'd love to be out.
I feel like a lot of us who are in the thick of the newborn stage right now are all excited about 2016 for this very reason!
I wish I didn't hate the newborn phase so much. I was kind of hoping that it was just because of DS1 but NOPE. Don't like newborns. Really prefer babies 6+ months and toddlers even more.

Getting into a grove of working again Build up our savings, then spend a lot of it on a major renovation (upstairs bathrooms) Making our house more of our home in the next year Surprising H with a weekend away (and great basketball tickets) for his birthday in January Get serious about getting back to pre-pg weight, which I somehow managed to do when DS turned 1, but have gained a lot in the past year and a half

Same here! DH and i both say if I could just birth to a 6 month old (and won the lottery) then we'd have a million kids!
