2015 has been a big year as far as hitting personal fitness goals and I was hoping for a rest year next year but it looks like it'll be another big year with lots of big races.
Rest year for sure. Dd2 will still be under 2 yrs old so I will still be knee deep in diapers, nursing, and sleepless nights. Just planning to tread water and hopefully enjoy it most of the time.
Hoping for a big year. Hoping for a 2016 baby, or at least getting and staying pregnant. I think it will be a big year for me and DH at work, which will mean longer hours, but in turn more financial gain. We have big goals to lay off some stuff. Likely buying a new car towards the end of the year.
I don't think I've had a rest year, since like, college.
I need a rest/catch up year really bad. My only firm plans are to learn my new job and buy a minivan. Maybe plan a Disney trip for the twins' first birthday. Other than that, I'm breezy.
We bought a house, I had surgery, which led to me finally getting pregnant and we should finish off the year with the baby. I hope 2016 is a year of just soaking it all in.
Edit: I forgot that I also finished my masters and we travelled to Europe.
Rest year, comparatively. New baby in May (omg I'm 20 weeks already?). But in 2015 we did a 500 mile move, 2 new jobs, trip to Europe and a bunch of other stuff. Rest year, please!

Big for me, professionally. I am 99% sure I'll be moving to a new role in mid-January which will be a huge learning curve and a stretch professionally but I am welcoming the challenge.
We bought a new house this year and did extensive renovations so this will be a quieter year on the home front. But I like/need a 'big' element ever year, I'm learning. I seek it out. But only 1-2 big things at a time, please .
2008 - married 2009 - bought first house 2010 - new job, baby #1 2011 - baby #2 2012 - 'rest' year, I guess, 2u2 and working FT so didn't feel restful. 2013 - baby #3 2014 - new job 2015 - new house and gut job renos 2016 - new job

Rest year. Added our 3rd kid in 2015. So I'm hoping 2016 will be just getting into a new routine with 3 kids, paying down some debt and generally getting back to "normal" after the newborn stage.

Rest year. As in, I hope ds2 (at 2yo) will actually start sleeping thru the night so I can get some really sleep. I haven't gotten a full 7 hours since the 2nd trimester!
2016 will be the first year in a looong time in which we are not TTC or contemplating/going through a big move or considering a huge career jump or trying to pull off some big feat of some sort. I have zero ambition for this year but to maintain the status quo. We don't even have any ambitious travel plans yet.
Big year. I will finish my program in February and need to decide on staying in the industry I'm in with the certification or branching out. H would also like to look for something job-wise. Travel to NYC in spring and a cruise in December. M will get her first passport! Also it will be a big year in terms of paying off a few things. We would like to decide if we want another by the end of the year.
2015 was mostly a rest year. Only change was me quitting my job and going back to school.
2016 won't be a rest year, but won't be huge or anything. I'm getting into a pretty intensive school program(I'm determined!) so that will be big. But nothing else really planned.
Probably rest. We will more than likely deciding if we are going to move closer to my family or stay up north. If we decide to move I would love to be able to do it asap but it probably won't happen this year.
