I'm not sure! If we decide to have another baby, next year will be the year to get pregnant. We have a trip to Germany planned for August. If we don't have another kid, I may try and go back to work if an opportunity arises. We'll see. I never try and plan too much .
2015 was certainly a rest year and it was much needed after a solid five years of big years.

Big year! Should close on our house (our first!) in late February/early March. Plan to start TTC shortly after that, so fingers crossed I'll be pregnant in 2016. Both cars are paid off next year, so we are going to upgrade to a larger SUV or minivan. In the fall, DD starts kindergarten and DS starts preschool.
Big year-ish. I'm returning to a corporate full-time position after a year of PT consulting. Trip to Croatia (mother/daughter trip #6) after only family travel in 2015.

I think we are in between. We are moving across the country and I am establishing myself as a freelancer/entrepreneur. But it won't be as big as this year, what with finishing grad school, being pregnant, having a baby and my dad finding his biological family. Woah.

I really need it to be a rest year for everything in our personal life because I am apparently leaning in at work for 2016. That wasn't the original plan at work (I was hoping to coast for a while), but opportunity knocked, so I had to accept the challenge.

I hope it's a big year for me at work. I kicked ass in 2015, and plan to do it again in 2016, only I need to ask for more money. I like my job, and will continue to to kick ass regardless, but my boss needs to say thank you with fewer words and more $$$ next year.
It will be a rest year for us. We did a TON in late 2014/2015. We moved in Sept 2014, moved DH's grandmother from NY to a nursing home here near us in Nov 2014, handled her estate when she passed away this spring, had DD in March, started the homestead back up (big garden, chickens, rabbits, fruit trees). We have some smaller homestead projects planned, like bees and more fruit. But nothing major.
Big year - Get promoted, Hopefully move back to US, move jobs within current company or find new job due to said move, maybe buy a house. Also it'll be our 10 yr anniversary in August so hopefully travel to Asia like we've always said.
