So last year I purchased a Groupon for $599 for a year's worth of unlimited laser hair removal.
Amazing deal, right? Well, after the third appointment, the place said their system was down and couldn't schedule appointments. NBD. Except they wouldn't return any of my calls to schedule another appointment. This has been going on since April.
So I finally emailed Groupon, and just asked for a prorated amount back since I did have 3 treatments - they emailed me back less than 24 hours later - they are refunding the full $599!
That's all - Groupon is fantastic and I will love them forever and ever.
I had a similar thing happen to be and all groupon was willing to do was give me a groupon credit for that amount. I had to speak to 2 managers to finally get it back to my credit card. I do love groupon, but I don't buy enough to justify a large groupon credit.
