katespade - you'd be proud! My parents are in town and my dad wanted to surprise my mom with a new purse. We hit the outlets yesterday (which were surprisingly empty) and I helped him pick out a nice KS purse. I had already gotten her a KS wristlet, so she is styling now!
The purse that H picked out for me is adorable and totally my style, but it's tiny. Like, way smaller than what I usually carry around. Am I a terrible person if I exchange it? He's completely on board with the idea, but I'm feeling guilty because I really appreciate the thought he put into picking it out for me. If I exchange it for a bigger version of the same purse, does that make me less terrible for exchanging it? I really like it, but I'd hate for it to sit in my closet and never get used just because it's too small for all of my stuff.

If you aren't going to use it, then exchange it. I think just getting the bigger version is a perfect idea.
MrsAggie - bk1 - I think I feel guilty because I did the same thing with the Uggs he picked out for me last year. I absolutely loved them, but they didn't fit quite right and I ended up exchanging them. H never has any issues with me exchanging things, but he puts so much thought into picking out gifts he thinks I'll enjoy that I want to keep them even if I know I shouldn't.
You're right, though. It's definitely too expensive and pretty to be stuck in a closet.

Could you use the bag for a special occasion bag? I would feel bad exchanging two years in a row.
