Definitely not. DD went to sleep at 7 and we went to bed at 9. We have all been sick and not sleeping well, so we needed an early bedtime. I actually fell asleep watching TV around 8:30.
Barely. We celebrated as a family at 9pm for east coast New Years. I was showered and in bed around 11:30, and I heard the ball drop at midnight. I certainly was not up celebrating at midnight.
Better than last year, though. We were in San Diego and I was asleep at the hotel by 10pm.
I did and then DS woke up right when we were getting ready to go to bed and wouldn't go back to sleep. He was up til 2 am. We were St my inlaws and sharing a room so we were all up til 2 am.
Our coverage of the ball drop was really weird. Like it said "live" but cut off like a minute before midnight eastern to switch to local news, and our local station had to scramble to put up their coverage of the ball drop and only managed to show the last 4 seconds. Huge letdown. And Jenny McCarthy was ridiculously annoying the whole time.
We did, but mainly because we were watching the Cotton Bowl (which was an incredibly depressing end to 2015 as a Spartan fan). The game ended around 11:30, so it wasn't too hard to stay up the extra half hour to see the ball drop.
These responses surprise me. I thought everyone stayed up!
I know! I never miss a midnight, especially since I can sleep in the next day. Since we were all so tired from our trip, all three of us woke around 10 am today.
Lol. Yeah, my kids rarely sleep past 7 even if up late and exhausted. If they sleep until 7, I am lucky.
This is the first year I didn't. I even made it to midnight last year with a three month old. Last night, I fell asleep at 10:30, watching Making Of A Murderer in bed.
