If you're interested in participating in a Whole30 check-in, post here. I will tag everyone. I'll do a post every Sunday, so the 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th, plus a final review thread on the 31st. Feel free to participate, even if you're doing modifications to the plan.
wambam I'm not going to be doing a full Whole30, but am going to be keeping track of calories via MFP and trying to cut back on carbs working up to eliminating them. Same with dairy because I have sensitivities, even though I love cheese. The hardest part, though, will be my morning latte. What suggestions would you make for that? Last time I just did black coffee but that was difficult because I'm not super crazy about it.

First of all, remember there's a difference between grains and carbs. You should never eliminate carbs because hopefully you're eating lots of vegetables.
For the coffee, I recommend experimenting with compliant almond or coconut milk and blending it into the coffee to give you a similar mouthfeel to the latte.

Carbs was a bad word to use. I meant bread, pasta, etc. Not veggies.
Does coconut milk taste like coconut? I may have to try almond milk for that reason. I HATE coconut.

I don't know if you've ever tried Bulletproof Coffee. It is coffee with ghee or butter blended in. I've made a dairy free version with coconut oil and it is delicious, but very filling. People have it is as a meal. You might hate it, but I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it. However, I typically just do a splash of coconut milk.
