If yes, then Summit County in Colorado is the place for you!! Just spent 3 days there and it offers beautiful landscapes, amazing weather, and dong as far as the eye can see...haha.
A couple of my friends live in the Denver area had warned me the area we were staying was a giant sausage fest...and they weren't joking!!
Census claims that for every 100 females over the age of 18 there are 145 males in that county....so about a 60/40 split. That can't be right, it seemed way worse than that. I can't even imagine what happens when a single woman moves into that area...it must like a mad dash to ask her out. I guess on the other hand that woman could have the pick of anyone she wanted.
Would you want to live in an area that was predominantly male? For me personally....NO!!! ;D
I would just want to live in CO period...it's my favorite state.
I think Alaska is kind of like that too more so in some of the more remote places where it's 5:1 (granted in general it's pretty close) i know there were more men in Fairbanks when my friend was stationed there in the AF. she said it got annoying getting hit on all the time.
I don't know... I guess I want to be where I can find an open and honest guy who is faithful to having me as his only woman. Seems like I need to be in utopia for that.
I met a guy who lives in Aspen but he seemed like a total player/party boy. Maybe he was the exception. I'm with you MCC, let's move there together!
I am sure you would have to navigate thru a sea of ski bums, but eventually you would find a guy with some ambition. Unless of course you just want to party then maybe stick to the ski bums...haha.

Why oh why didn't someone tell me this when I was single with no kids and could move wherever I damn well pleased?! Hell yes I'd want to be in a predominately male population!
My friend went to law school in Denver and I know a few of her friends that live there now. They say it's really not that great... most of the men are totally obsessed with the outdoors, extreme sports, very competitive, eating healthy, being extremely fit, etc.
I can see this... my ex moved there after our divorce and was totally like that - he couldn't just go skiing - he had to do the most difficult, extreme hill very fast. I am not into the crazy adventure seekers anymore.. I want someone who will go down the easier slopes with me and actually enjoy it. Also I want someone who will be relaxed about food.. my ex was getting to the point every meal had to be perfectly balanced, measured, taking lots of supplements and it was annoying. I want someone who will eat pizza with me and not worry about how it will effect their muscles
Ummmm, I'm starting to think this is where I belong since that's how I am!

Haha me too! Minus the healthy eating... my eating habits are awful. Everything else sounds amazing though.

Yeah I know a couple people who moved there after not having any direction in life and not wanting college to end.
We're friends on FB and I don't think I've ever seen someone go to Vegas so much. And if he's not in Vegas he's somewhere for a wedding or bachelor party. His life actually seems like one continuous bachelor party. AND he even lived in Dubai for awhile. Go figure!

yes but Denver has some great micro breweries...we went out there for a vacation and did a tour, there were 5 or 6 with in walking distance of our hotel and our hotel had a package where we got to sample beers at each one...soooo yummy. And lots of good food. I was so full from drinking porters and lagers that we had to take 2 days to do the beer tour.
and then it's close enough to the slopes that i'd be so happy.

Yeah but you can relax ... you drank margaritas, wine tasting, etc. My ex would not eat sugar... ever. He stopped drinking alcohol and wanted me to do the same. Every meal it was annoying to be around him and his friends... they did body for life and were so obsessed. It was all they talked about. I guess if you are that into it and it's fun for you than it might be a good fit.
Since I left my ex I prefer to date men that are more balanced... someone that works out but loves to eat and really enjoys food. I also have no desire to date someone with a perfect body because to get that body requires so much sacrafice and it just isn't worth it to me. I prefer a man that isn't perfect because I am not perfect either.
lol every man in Denver is not the same as your ex.
I am already planning on moving to Denver once I'm done with school.
I wish there was an equivalent city with that ratio of hot men, but who were really passionate about wine and food. That would be my mecca.
Me too!! I think we need to live in Europe or NY
The italian guy was obsesssed with food and wine and never once mentioned his love of the outdoors.. except to say he loved to lay on the beach.
The guy I dated in NYC said he runs outside everyday and that's enough outdoors for him. He had no desire to climb a mountain full of ice.
This sounds Ah-mah-zing. I mean really if I'm totally honest I really don't like the outdoors, except if it also involves food and wine. I love dining al fresco!
