I put on blush this morning because I felt ghostly, but it's approximately 100 degrees in this office and now I look like I have a terrible sunburn.
I bought 4 pairs of shoes, two necklaces, a skirt, a pair of dress pants that desperately need hemmed, two sweaters, and two dresses yesterday and it was fabulous!
There's a yellowish station on our shower curtain that makes it look like someone peed on it. I've washed it twice, but I cannot get the stain out. And R doesn't want to replace it. Cheapo.

Yay for clothes shopping! I do it so infrequently. This week I went looking for a cowl neck, tunic length sweater. I found one I liked so much, I bought three colors (two of which were on sale).
My truck is finally in the body shop from the 5-wks-ago accident. Should take about a week. Can hardly wait to see it.
My bronchitis has not improved. I've been to the doctor twice and nothing has worked. Nurses are calling to check on me. Today, the nurse told me I could either come back to see the doctor again, or go to the emergency room... ?! Not sure how I should interpret this.
I am on a spending freeze which is definitely warranted. Spent way too much in December.
I need to focus all my energy to cooking healthy for us. I just signed up for Hello Fresh and I am excited about my first box! We eat out a lot, so I am hoping this will help us cook at home.
Today is my last day of freedom. Tomorrow is the first day of my new work schedule, and school starts next Tuesday (well, Monday, but I have Monday's off).
Our new work table for the kitchen is ready to pick up at HD; I can't wait to get it home and assemble it! After we see how it looks with everything else, we'll pick a couple colorful tabouret stools to go with it.

I love my tabouret stools! I have lime green I bought on Overstock.
I'm growing older but not up. My metabolic rate is pleasantly stuck, let the winds of time blow over my head. I'd rather die while I'm living than live while I'm dead.

I went to the dentist. I cannot feel the lower left and the top right of my mouth. I could feel more half of the second filling I got. But I avoided a block so whatev.
It took longer than I expected so I literally came back to work for 40 minutes.
I don't really need to be spending money right now since right before Christmas I had to drop some cash on unforeseen car problems but I got an email from Target and curtains are on sale so I bought these for our Living room/kitchen. I need 108" curtains and have had a really hard time finding affordable curtains that I like. I had cheap gray curtains from Ikea but they are too long, and don't look great.

On Monday the lady who was going to watch DD text me and said she couldn't. I'm scheduled to go back to work Monday. We interview a daycare today and love it. Luckily we can start Monday. That was a stressful two days though. On another note I need to go back to work so I will stop spending money. MOTN feedings are seriously encouraging eBay buys.
I just got a call from the vet that my 12 year old kitty has lymphoma. He has been losing weight but we couldn't find the answer. DH and I got him in college and he has moved all over with us. I just can't imagine life without him.

I had a kitty end up with lymphoma and two other cancers. I'm so sorry.

mrsemilys - it's so sad when a pet is ill. So sorry.
treedimensional, I hope that they can figure out what's going on. Did you end up going back to the doc?
My H basically told me we have to stop haemorrhaging money, which we have done (too much going out, too much makeup on my end, etc). So, now trying to do a spending freeze on Amazon and store purchases. Boo. All moneys to go to our houses and holidays.

mrsukyankee thanks. Haven't been back to the clinic (feel like they're out of ideas??) and this doen't feel like an emergency, so I haven't been to the ER. I started using herbs yesterday and actually got some relief, so I'm going to give the herbal therapy another couple days before I decide.
I'm concerned about my career because I haven't worked in a month, and I have a speaking engagement next week.
