Today got away from me, but in a better way than the last two. I slept for two hours this afternoon and ms. Nora is still sleeping. I need to bake dd1s bday cupcakes before she gets home. Tonight will be low key, I imagine dh will take the girls outside to play on the snow. Saturday dh is taking them sledding with friends and then people are coming back here for cocoa and cookies. We may go to church tomorrow night. Sunday is dd1s bday and she wants pizza for dinner. It's suppose to be incredibly cold (so different than The year she was born and the was a freakish 60 degrees!) so I'm not sure we will do much else, but I had considered going to the Moa to ride a few rides. We will see.

Soon glad your Friday has been good to you, dizzycooks. Fingers crossed for a low key weekend.
I had a friend's little one-year-old over this morning, so DS and I had fun playing with him. Now DS is quietly playing with Magformers and I am enjoying the quiet and some tea. Tonight I am going out to dinner with some girlfriends, and I am very much looking forward to it. Tomorrow, DD's ballet classes starts up again after the winter break, and then we are all going to a friend's birthday party. Sunday I will probably take a bunch of laundry to my parents' house and hang out there for a while - our dryer has been broken since Christmas Eve, and isn't getting fixed until Monday. We're in a bit of a situation. And then in the evening, I have Book Club. DH will probably take the kids to do something with his parents Sunday morning.

Today I mainly just did to-dos that needed to be done around the house and then grabbed a few things at the store. Tomorrow I'm spending the majority of the day baking and cooking for my grandmas surprise 77th birthday on Sunday and washing bed sheets. Then Sunday is party day!
DS1 has a swim lesson in 15 minutes but I think we are skipping because baby is napping and I don't want to wake him and it's really chilly today (outdoor pool). DH is expected to land soon from a work trip and as soon as he gets home we will drive to our family beach house because DH is golfing down there tomorrow with some work colleagues. So I will be hanging out with the kids most of the day. I just want to sleep. I dream for baby to sleep all through the night and wake up after 6. I can't with these 5am wake ups. Please remind me of this when if I ever get baby fever.
Tonight I had girls night at a friends house. DD is spending the night with my parents and DS hung out with his dad. Tomorrow DD has cheer practice for 3 hours. I need to do laundry and some organizing/packing. STBXH and I also need to sit down and decide who is taking what. I am hoping he is in a decent mood and it's not as horrible as I am expecting. I am Moving out in 2 weeks so it needs to be done. The kids and I are going to a friend's house for dinner. Sunday, the kids and I will go to church and lunch with my parents. Then the rest of the day is free...maybe more cleaning, organizing, and packing
Jnksmom, sending you positive vibes. It might be a tough task, but your tougher. Wishing you all the best. Tomorrow is a quiet, chill day. Sunday the kids have 2 birthday parties to go to. I have a feeling they are going to be exhausted.
Tonight, I'm in pjs and waiting for h to come back with take out BBQ mmm. Long ass day and when I picked ds up from daycare, he managed to poop during the few minutes it took to gather all his stuff but then stuck his hand in the check and pulled out poo fingers *shudder* that was fun...
Moving on lol. Tomorrow, coffee with my bff at 9:15 and a hair appointment at 10. Hopefully come home and chill after and then going to mil's for a belated bday tacos and ice cream cake get together.
We were snowed in for two days, and DH worked two super-late nights this week and wasn't home to see the kids, so I plan to run away for some alone time this weekend. Not sure where I'll go, I just want to get out of the house and have some kid-free time.
No big plans for us, but we might finally check out an indoor play place that's close to our house.
I took DD to the zoo this morning. She loved it! We had taken her once before but she fell asleep and it was a small zoo so she basically missed the whole experience. I started bleeding while we were there (30 weeks pregnant today) so I ended up having to stay in the hospital overnight for monitoring. It's my first night away from DD and I'm so sad
Tomorrow night we are supposed to have another couple over for dinner, but that is up in the air now. Hopefully I will be going home, but either way I have to come back to the hospital tomorrow night for the second steroid shot.
Sunday DD has swim lessons. We really don't have anything else planned.
@chatterbox - I hope everything is OK! If it helps any, I was hospitalized at 29 weeks with my DS, 75% effaced already, but he stayed put until 36 weeks and did really well. It helped to think of every little milestone along the way - getting one steroid shot is wonderful, two will be even better, and take it day by day after that. The fact that you got one steroid shot is so great. I feel like it made a big difference in how well my DS did even though he still came a month early. I hope things just go back to normal for you with no more worries. Take care!

Thanks! I like your way of thinking about it and I'm glad things turned out so well for your DS

Happy birthday! Enjoy your girls dinner and have a good one
chatterbox - Good thoughts for that little baby to stay all cozy inside for a while longer! jnksmom - I hope that you guys are able to sort everything out in a peaceful manner. You are a strong person!
Today (Saturday) - A pretty low key day. DD1 had swim this morning and DH is working out. I am in major declutter mode and have already sorted a good bit of our walk-in closet and have a bunch of bags to donate on Monday. I want to finish doing the same to our dresser and clean out under our bed because we have a new mattress set being delivered this week.
Sunday - We might go to my dad's for dinner. He is helping my step-sister move this weekend and might still be doing that so we will play that by ear. Otherwise more football, grocery shopping, and getting ready for the week. I am soaking up this lazy weekend since it feels like we have been so busy the last few weekends.
