I'd definitely mention it to your OB just for peace of mind, but my understanding is that it is fairly common to lose weight in first tri. Somehow I managed to defy the laws of nature and gain a few pounds first tri, despite debilitating sickness and eating next to nothing! My OB has been totally nonchalant with my weight the entire pregnancy thus far (I'm up 20 lbs now in third tri). She seemed more concerned with making sure I was taking a multivitamin and checking my blood for iron, etc.

I lost a ton of weight with DD...I don't think I even reached my pre-preg weight until I was around 24wks pg. I ended up only gaining 15lbs total her pregnancy (I was not overweight to start with) and left the hospital with about 5lbs to go. My OB was fine with it since she was growing well. She just encouraged me to eat full fat foods when I could eat!
I have not had that problem with DS or this pregnancy! Haha!
I'd mention it to your OB just for your own peace of mind.
I'm having the opposite problem and at 10w3days have already gained at least 5 pounds.
This is me. At the end of first tri, I was up 8 lbs. At the end of second tri, I was up 20 lbs. My nutrition is in check and I am still fairly active, so I'm guessing I will end up around 35 lbs up. That gives me about 50 lbs to lose (I was at my heaviest when I got pregnant) and I have made my peace with that!
If you haven't been vomiting I'd just bring it up at your appointment to make sure they don't have concerns. With DD I lost about 8lbs and ended up at a gain of 20, so really 12.
With this pregnancy I lost 15lbs in about 4 weeks, but I had HG so it was a much bigger deal.
