My hair has always been shoulder length or longer. My husband never wanted me to cut it and I always figured my face was too fat but screw both those reasons. I want to chop it off into something fairly short and funky
This is me (i wear my hair up 99.5% of the time)
I really like Chelsea Kanes hair cut but she is also blonde and adorable
I think this style would took great on you. I have never had hair that short but I know people always say short hair can be more work because you don't have the option to throw it in a ponytail, you have to style it every day. Just something to think about.

I think the 3rd pic of the short styles you posted would be great on you especially seeing the short hair styles you've had! The brown haired inspiration pic would look great on you!!! I say go for it!
As someone who has short hair, I say go for it. My thoughts are if you don't love it, no worries it will always grow back. I don't find short hair all that high maintenance, I get mine cut and colored about every 8-9 weeks., and I love that it takes me less than 10 minutes to get it fixed in the morning.
I usually regret cutting my hair short enough that I can't put it in a ponytail, but that's just because I'm lazy. It looks nice short, and it grows back.

I think those cuts would look great on you. You would have to style your hair a bit every day and be ok with hair touching your face. That was a big shock when I've chopped mine. I can't get it all back and contained (although a headband does the trick). It looks a bit curly, yes? I'd talk with your stylist about making sure the cut looks good without straightening on days you want to just scrunch and go.
I think you should try a "long bob" first. That way you can still put it in a ponytail, but it will feel much shorter. Super short hair takes a loooong time to grow back if you don't like it.
My DD has the same cut as the last picture and loves it! (hers is actually slightly shorter when freshly cut, but is the same shape). It's easy to style, and she feels edgy. She went from long to short over a period of a few months.
