Have you read Girl on the Train? I liked it even more than Gone Girl.
Our book club just read the Shonda Rhimes memoir, The Year of Yes. It was good. Quick and easy, and an interesting read. I had a hard time getting into it, because i think I am still harboring some anger towards her for **SPOILER ALERT** killing off Derek.
The Snow Child by Eowyn Ivey - loved The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins - dark and good, read before the movie comes out! Russian Winter by Daphne Kalotay

I feel like I read girl on the train, but I may be confusing it with orphan train. I do believe I have it in my iBooks though. I should look. Oh and I definitely still harbor resentment towards Shonda haha
I recently read "man in the high castle"--odd (there's an Amazon series so I wanted to read the book that goes with...but it's very different from the show and pretty theoretical 'what is reality' type stuff)
I also read "the magic strings of Frankie presto" by Mitch Albom (Tuesday's with morrie) that I enjoyed.
I just finished The 5th Wave and The Infinite sea from the 5th wave trilogy. They're YA but were pretty good. I am getting ready to read ashley bell by Dean Koontz while I wait for book 3. After that I think I might read the third book in the peculiar children series.
I just finished The Christmas Box, Timepiece, and The Letter all by Richard Paul Evans. Nothing amazing but good reads all the same. It's on my to-do lost to find a new book today.
I remembered! I highly recommend Doctor Sleep by Stephen King. It is a follow-up to The Shining and is so good. The other ones I recommend to absolutely everyone (if you haven't read them already) are The Passage and The Twelve from the passage trilogy. The third book isn't out yet but the first two were easily among the best books I have ever read. Duma Key by Stephen King is also really good.

I really liked At The Water's Edge by Sara Gruen If you liked the Gillian Flynn books, you might like Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll, same dark vein... I also LOVED The Martian if you haven't seen the movie.

I recently read Brooklyn. It was good. Easy. Not too groundbreaking. I wanted to read it before watching to movie (ha! Who knows when that will be). I also just read Never Broken by Jewel. I really liked it but I love memoirs. I wasn't a huge jewel fan or anything but it was still interesting. Plus I love the reality show Alaska the Last Frontier which is her family. Lol! I'm kind of lame....

I am trying to read the maid hart Lovelace nominees for this year, but I'm stuck on Three Times Lucky. I just don't love it! I need something better. Perhaps I'll stop and leave that as my review of the book.

I am also reading Scream Free Parenting... So far I'm waiting for them to tell me how to not be a screamer. He does a lot of anecdotes which is fun, but not very useful.

I needed this today. It's the weekend - I much prefer weekdays....

I really loved Girl on the Train. I also like Liane Moriarty a lot (The Husband's Secret was great). I just finished Fast Girl, by Suzy Favor Hamilton (autobiography of former olympian turned call girl). Interesting, and I saw her on Dateline….so i was intrigued. I've heard The Good Girl (can't remember the author) is excellent.

This is me too. I'm almost done with the book I'm reading now and I'm starting to worry about what I'm going to read next.
