I just got a yarn swift that I love. It was middle of the road price and works so perfectly I can't believe it. Also, that $35 Amazon Fire has been awesome. I'm so impressed with it and the apps, games, videas, etc that Amazon offers...especially for $35. That was a crazy price.
Yes! I finally tried on a pair of Joe's jeans and I get the hype now. I scored them for 1/2 retail price at Nordstrom rack and they fit like a glove. Soft and comfy and look great after wearing them all day. Stoked!

The kids got Magformers for Christmas, and I could rave about them all day. Anything that holds the attention of both a 2 and 5 yo and keeps them playing in relative peace is spectacular.
We just shelled out $500 to fix our not even 5-year-old dryer, so I do not recommend Frigidaire brand appliances.

I found plus sized leggings made by One5one at Ross that are the most amazing things I've ever worn. They are fleece-lined and thick but super stretchy and comfortable, and they have a super wide waistband that goes up really high so I don't have to worry about them rolling or slipping down. I LOVE them and have been checking all the stores in my area to try and collect more pairs.

Appliance repairs/replacement sucks. We just had a new dishwasher installed on Monday because the 5 year old one we had started failing and the price to fix w/ parts and labor would have been too much to justify not replacing.

Were you the poster that had bought the Hudson jeans on Haute Look, thus causing me to look and buy a pair? I love the Hudsons I got! They are my new go to jean, even over my beloved AG jeans. How did you end up liking yours?

I went shopping for a new dryer, but the cheapest option would have meant buying the same one we already have, and even that was closer to $800 with delivery and installation. So annoyed. For locals, I do highly recommend Standard TV and Appliance, though. :-)
We actually used them for our fridge and washer/dryer purchase when we bought this house! We were pleased. We also used them when our microwave broke last year, but DH had some communication issues with the sales guys (like not calling us back, us having to call multiple times to find out if the item was there and it had been for over a week with no notification), so DH wanted to go another route this time. He can be really stubborn. My IL's used them when they re-did their kitchen a few years ago and were also happy. Overall I agree and I love to keep our dollars local in the community.

Yes! That was me I LOVED the ones I got from haute look. They fit even better than the other pair I got and make my butt look good, the true test lol. Glad you loved yours too!
I am still in love with my LG washer and dryer. I do need a step stool to reach the bottom of the washing machine but that's mostly because I'm short.
Also, I finally found pretty smelling body wash and lotion that I'm not allergic to. The body was is Nivea sparkle and the lotion is B&BW sweet pea. So now I can smell pretty without being headache-inducing and I don't have to itch all over.

I'm another fan of Joe's jeans. So comfortable!
Another huge Joe's jeans fan here. I got some American eagle after all the raves here - probably a major UO but I hate them and will be donating them. My new favorite these days are Madewell jeans.

Just got a new LG washer and dryer set delivered today!! I discovered quickly that I will need a step stool. I'm 5'2 with short legs. Kind of regretting not getting a front loader but I can deal. It dries in under an hour so I'm happy.
I love anything pampered chef. I have the star chopper, and I couldn't imagine life without it now. The one thing I was disappointed in was my dyson cordless vacuum. I don't know if I got a lemon, but it isn't what I had hoped.
I haven't bought anything for myself in a while. We bought DS a LeapReader pen for Christmas and he has played with it for hours. He doesn't play with anything for very long, but he has honestly spent at least an hour a day reading things with it. I love it! We still do a lot of reading together, but it's great to have something he can sit down with if I'm too busy to read to him. He also brings it into the bathroom. It's totally the 4-year-old's version of bringing the iPad into the can.

I haven't been able to wear AE jeans since having DS1 in 2012. I'm going to lool into Joe's Jeans after this baby.
I'll admit that I live under a rock, I've never heard of joe jeans. Like joe fresh?
Not Joe fresh. Joe's Jeans are their own brand. They've been around for some time because I remember getting my first pair right out of college which was circa 2002....
