A special snowflake lol. He asked for a piece of bread when I was in the middle of a million other things. I handed it to him and he asked me to cut the crust off.
And that's when my "up at 4:45 am exhaustion from having a long day full of whining from my "I can do it!!!!" two year old" hit me and I...snapped. I looked at him and said, "no I cannot cut the crust off. You can either eat the crust or eat around it like everyone else, you are not a special snowflake."
Poor kid just stared at me and then walked away :/
Aww but he thought he was. Especially for you. of course the fact you feel bad proves he is. It'll be ok. It's a good opportunity to learn he can't have everything right now and a good reminder to be patient for you. But really, this before dawn business will break us all and things happen!!
My kid would be rich if she got a dollar every time I said something that disappointed her, lol. I can see myself snapping and saying something just like that!
