I voted for option 3, but mostly because it's the closest option to what I would actually do.
I would have gotten that email and figured they just messed up and wouldn't expect to actually receive anything. I would delete the email and forget about it until a package showed up. Then, if I did receive something, I would contact them.
With dilemmas like this, I try to think of what I would want to teach my child in this situation. I'd begrudgingly be honest and contact them before it ships.
I'd let them know, but only because it's Kickstarter. On the other hand, anything on Kickstarter is really just proof of concept, and getting backers is the most important part, so maybeee just keep it. For me, it would depend on how much of a hassle a return is.

Ah, in that case I'd go ahead and get in touch with them whenever you have a chance - if it's before it arrives, great. If it's after it arrives, so be it.

I'd like to say call them and hope you get to keep it but I'm sort of in a place right now where I would say keep it. I'm not pleased that I feel that way. I know it's flameful. I used to flame others for that.

If you're definitely not wanting to buy a second one now I'd contact them and request they cancel the shipment. If it's already en route I would ask them their return policy and hope they tell me to keep it.
ETA: And if they do tell you to keep it I'd leave a positive comment on their kickstarter site without saying they screwed up and delivered a second one by mistake.

If they did send me another one, I would probably keep it. I'm not proud that I would keep it, and I realize my moral Compass is faulty, but there it is.
On the off chance they'll want me to return the item (if there really is a delivery), I wouldn't want to do deal with that. I don't like returning stuff. So I would just call the company and explain that "I think I received the e-mail in error and I have already received my product." And go from there.
Since it is a Kickstarter, I would probably call them to alert them of the issue. I would have to wonder how many people would be sent a duplicate item and how much money they could be losing. If it was a larger company, I would be more inclined to pick option 3, but this could be a really expensive mistake for a new company.

I have nothing other than it is too bad then did have these 10 years ago when I was rolling my granny cart to the grocery store, dry cleaners and laundry.
