My FFFC is that my kids run screaming from the vacuum. Sometimes I turn it on and after they leave the room I park it in the living room and go sit in the kitchen and relax

That is awesome.
My thoughts exactly. My kid stands and screams at it. I wish she would realize she can leave. Does that make my Fffc that I continue to run it even though I know she hates it?
O.k., I just need to say that I've been doing some research and it seems that the creme egg recipe in Canada is different from the one in the U.S., which may explain some of the creme egg hate that appeared in this thread.
Gastro mentioned corn syrup at one point, and it seems that while that is indeed an ingredient in the U.S., Canadian creme eggs' centre is made of fondant, and contains no corn syrup whatsoever.

Just FTR, creme egg fondant =/= cake decorating fondant.
Sheesh, you'd think I own stock in Cadbury or something considering the amount of creme egg defending I do.
Though maybe that's not a bad idea...
If fondant and fondant are not the samething, one of them should be called something else.
Fondant fillings and fondant pastes (the "play-doh" used to decorate cakes) are comprised of basically the same ingredients - invert sugars...and invert sugars are very similar to corn syrup (taste/consistency)

This conversation just got very technical. I am not tracking well.
But! I kind of want a Canadian lady to send me an egg so I can compare. I promise if it still sucks I'll give it to dh because he likes all the cadberry eggs.

Lol - so funny, I was just thinking yesterday that I'm going to ask my mom to get me a few and bring them when they come back from Florida in a couple months.
