So my pan is only a year old but scrambled eggs keep getting stuck to it. I've always followed the correct rules for care of washing when warm without soap. Yesterday I reseasoned it coating with vegetable oil in the oven at 400 for an hour but my eggs still stuck this morning. Help! What am I doing wrong?
Do you rub oil after each use? After I rinse it I put a light coat of oil with a paper towel before I put it up. I don't think it's a true non stick though.
Hmm. I guess I always have a little sticking but not like it would be in a stainless pan. More than non-stick of course.
Yeah this is really bad sticking--like even more than in my stainless steel pans. It's done fine with other foods, just the scrambled eggs. So frustrating since it's never stuck on like that before. There's no signs of rust or anything either, still looks brand new. Hmph

You probably need to season it again. It can take more than one coat of oil/heat to make a good season. Thekitchn.com did an awesome instructional with flax oil. It seemed pretty intense but created an awesome non stick surface. I'll see if I can find it.
