It's not a competition, I am just genuinely irritated as to how people will totally believe that one is still valid to be upset about and one isn't.  I suppose I should no longer be surprised at how stupid the general public can be, though.

Yep there is a whole Holocaust denial segment of people.
It is absolutely a thing as well.
Both are equally horrific.

I will also add that those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it.
We can only do better by acknowledging how screwed up it is which includes acknowledging the roots in slavery.
