I just walked to the best sushi restaurant I have ever been to in my life. I have already plotted my next trip. And it is walkable from my house (in Houston, this is insane.) Downside? Totally pricey, but so worth it.
What's your favorite sushi?
We had so many delicious things this evening and I couldn't stop eating. And drinking.
I love sushi. I'm pregnant. I need to get out of this thread.
This never was an issue for me when I was pregnant. Â I still ate it.
H keeps telling me there are sushi options I could safely eat. But what's sushi from my favorite place without one of their amazing cocktails? OMG. 5 more months. I'm giving birth one block from my sushi place.

The idea of cooked fish during my entire pregnancy was enough to make me want to hurl, but sushi always sounded good. I missed it so much. I had tears in my eyes for the first bite when we went back to our favorite sushi restaurant after DS was born. lol

My late H and I used to go to Uchi once a month or so and always sat in front of the same guy. We'd tell him to feed us until we said stop, and no uni for me. Otherwise go crazy. Omg, one night I think we had 11 courses. I may never be able to go back there, but I have great memories of some freaking amazing sushi. I also loved Umi or Musashino. Sigh. Sushi here is meh most of the time.

I'm growing older but not up. My metabolic rate is pleasantly stuck, let the winds of time blow over my head. I'd rather die while I'm living than live while I'm dead.
Best sushi we've had (so far) is in Salt Lake City of all places! I can't remember the name but it was downtown. Mmmmm.... I'd go back just to go there again.

Where??
Izakaya Den. Sushi Sasa is also a contender, but Izakaya is "my spot." Sushi date!?
I am already dreading moving away from our favorite sushi place in San Antonio. The Sushi 7, their house roll, is divine. It's a tempura shrimp/avocado/cream cheese with tampico and eel sauce. The flavor combo is perfect.
I like items that have spice and crunch together. I also like rolls that have like a hot crab on top or scallops. I am also a fan of any with cream cheese in it.
I also look for quality wasabi since I literally add a small amount to every bite.
