I found a gray hair. My first. I told dh to add a new line to the budget because I will be getting my hair colored at my appointment on Tuesday. I was going to skip it, yeah no.
I am laughing at you. I got my first gray while in law school when I was 22
My fwp is that I can't decide which new clothes to wear this weekend. I got a really cute lace trim denim top and cords from anthro but I also have a new splendid top and joes jeans. I just can't figure out which one to wear to dinner on Saturday. Either would work. It's a downtown Santa Barbara casual spot. Total fwp lol.
I found my first gray hair at 18. I have so many now it's ridiculous. I need to color my hair but I've never done it before and I'm scared to.
Don't be scared! I have been getting my hair colored since 22!! If you have a good colorist, they can make it look natural and amazing. Right now I have blonde hair with low lights that looks like it's mine lol.

At 18 I was buying dye off the shelf and playing with all sorts of craziness. Somehow I don't think that would look real great now so I'm going to be coughing up some change to make it look real.
Side note: I had a parent this year who had a horrible dye job. She changed it every few weeks. It was terrible. I will not be that mother/woman.
It's not grey hair, your just growing glitter. I can relate, I've gone so grey over the last 3 years. I'm not freaking out until I find them in my eyebrows.

I know that mom too. Her hair was so over processed she had to chop it all off.
I was going gray in my early 20s. I used to have my stylist color my hair but my gray is so bad that I need it touched up every six weeks. With the kids I just don't have time to go in every six weeks, not to mention how much it costs. I have my mom touch up my grays now.
I started getting grey hairs in my mid twenties. Once DD was born they started multiplying extremely quickly. I used to color my hair but now I just DGAF.
I started getting random gray hairs in my late 20's. I would part my hair then pluck them out with tweezers. Now, I see gray everytime I part my hair.
I hate spending so much money at the salon so I don't color my hair. How much would you be willing to spend to get your hair colored?
The salon I go to is about $125 for a cut and partial foil. I'll probably just up the frequency of the foils, I only cut my hair about three times a year so if I add an extra foil in between I think we will be good for a while. I do blond highlights so I would imagine they'll blend until the gray is more numerous. Of course the stinker that I found last night is gone courtesy of a firm pluck!

I go to the girl who did my wedding makeup/hair almost 6 years ago so she hooks me up with a cut and full foils with mixed colors and a blow out for 135. Anywhere else around here would be 200+

I used to do the same thing until it just seemed like I was starting to pluck too many. So about a year ago I went to a salon to get my hair coloured. It looked fine, but at $110 plus tax and tip I said eff that noise and started colouring it at home after that. I've been doing it at home ever since and I honestly think it turns out even better.
I spend about $10 for a box, and that box lasts me two dyes (I posted recently about my genius idea to get it to last for two uses), so about 10 weeks. My DH applies it for me. I could probably do most of my head myself and just have him do the back, but he says he likes doing it, so I just sit back and pretend I'm at the salon - lol!
Seriously, you should give it a try. I feel a lot more confident knowing I don't have a bunch of greys peeking out of my part.

That's too cute that your H dyes your hair for you! I've been colouring my own hair for 20 years, with mixed results. When my sister was staying with us, she did it for me a couple of times and it was such a treat!
