WTF? I hate this kind of shit, because I am not crafty/creative in ANY way, and my poor kid ends up getting the shaft. What are the vocabulary words? Do you have to choose from a specific weekly list or do you have free reign over all prior vocab words too?
I'd "forget" that day, along with 96% of the other parents.
At my school all the other parents seem awesome at this, and me and my kids are all "derp, we forgot again". Followed by "Mommy it's your fault" and "No, you should be responsible enough". and "who cares anyway".
My favorite was when we got a note home that Henry should dress like a centurion. We were pretty sure they meant centenarian based on context clues but the first one would have been more fun.
I barely convinced M to do 100 stickers for her Kindergarten 100th day of school project. I STILL HAVE TO CUT THOSE FUCKERS APART.
I couldn't talk her into 100 pennies. ("BUT THEN THAT WILL ONLY BE $1 AND I WANT TO DO SOMETHING ELSE.") Grrr.
At least she gets to do something for 100th day! When DS1 was in K, his teacher, who was THE WORST, wrote in a newsletter, "We are not celebrating the 100th day of school. It is just a day that shows they have been in school for 100 days." Uh, that's the point, lady! But yeah, that's a lot of stickers! OP, good luck finding something. The way this school year is going for us, I would just find a fucking picture, print it out, and tape it to his shirt.

Yeah there are some easy ones. Holiday (throw on a Christmas shirt done) Greater make a greater then sign and tape it on a shirt, done Title page, type up a title page and print and tape on a shirt, done.
