My doctor used to say put a warm teabag on your eye.
I just pulled a hot green tea bag out of my cup and laid it on my eye. Lol it's helping.
The head of it (gag) is on my waterline - should I try to drain it? Or is that asking for trouble. The pain is a little unbearable. I want the pressure to go away - I have a body pump class at 8am ...

Don't pop it! Let a hot compress bring it to a head naturally.
I had one last summer. My eye dr said to put a hot (I mean, don't burn yourself...but he said a little on the hot side of warm) washcloth on it and apply slight pressure for 5-10 minutes every 30 minutes to an hour until you go to sleep tonight. Even better if you can set a few alarms during the night and do it throughout the night as well. It seemed like a ridiculous amount of hot compresses, but it went away within a day or two. Tomorrow I would do it every hour or two.
Just a warning, when you take the warm compress off, it'll take a minute or two for your vision to straighten out. I had one eye closed (obviously) & the other looking at a screen. When I took the compress off, I panicked for a second because my vision was so crazy!
