I'm contemplating adding that paper that makes the glass look frosted to the cabinets on either side of the sink. They're full of junk. Would that look weird with clear glass across the room on the other side?

Not weird. Do it. It's cheap and easy. And if you do t like it you can take it off cleanly. I have some on the Windows beside my front door to make them appear frosted to appease DH who thinks random people want to walk up to the hous and look in the Windows.
Also, I love that the kitchen isn't open to everything else. Open floor plans make me all wall-eyed and nervous.
Me too. We freaked out our real estate agent with our intensity on many topics, but he was relieved about the closed floodplan. Made his job easier since all the neighborhoods we were interested in had primarily older homes.
I think frosting the glass on the cupboards beside your sink would make it look less visually cluttered. Not that it looks bad now at all. But if you're trying to get "junk" out of your sight lines, that's a way to do it.
I love it! Do you love the sink? A huge farmhouse sink is on my list.
I adore it.
BUT my husband has chipped the porcelain in two small places by throwing things in it like it's a basketball hoop. I told him just because it's a farmhouse sink doesn't mean you get to act like a farm animal in the kitchen.

Can you post a pic or link? We have a balcony off our bedroom with a full glass door and I'm sure my neighbors are tired if seeing all that goes in on there.
I am in love with your kitchen especially the double stove and huge sink!
How funny is it that I looked at your sink and thought, oooooh new baby would fit perfectly for his first bath in that size sink, lol. Alas, I have a typical size sink, haha.

Voila. We used it in our pool house and it's so easy and works great. There it's on an exterior french door and in all weather over two years no cracking, peeling, etc.

I used this one. There are a bunch of different patterns. Mine has been on for almost 5 years and hasn't come off yet. No glue or anything. Just a really clean window (water, I think?) and a squeegee or credit card or something to flatten it on and get out all of the air bubbles.
