I'm in northeast ct so not terrible. Supposed to have 5-8 here. Just enough to keep me in. I ran around this morning for boys basketball and pics and got my coffee and headed home. It's coming down now. Boys have their friends over. Their dad doesn't mind driving in it so he dropped them for a couple of hours, which is nice for them.
So I'm cooking pulled pork in crock pot, cleaning like crazy and I will make cookies shortly. Pretty good Saturday.

It's so pretty! We got like 2 inches a few weeks ago, and that was enough to shut the city down for three days. 15 inches, and we would be barricaded in our houses until spring. Portlanders are not snow savvy.

We are in coastal RI so we are in 8-12 range. We only have a few inches so far. We actually have been out and about most of the day (surprising nothing got cancelled) and are planning on doing lots of cooking for our fax championship party tomorrow and watching movies.
:raises hand: We've been in since Thursday afternoon.
We ended up with 12" since Thursday night, which is a lot for WNC. Thankfully we haven't lost power or had to go anywhere. Roads are still horrible. Lots of accidents, abandoned cars, and 6 fatalities. Mountain roads + drivers with very little ice/snow experience + not enough plows to keep up is just not a good combination.
We did get out to play for a little while this afternoon, but mostly we've just been lazy. I've got homemade vegetable soup in the crockpot and am considering making cupcakes or brownies.

I think we got close to a foot (near Pittsburgh). It was enough to keep most people off the roads for most of the day today, but it stopped this afternoon and by dinner time the roads were clear enough for dh to venture out to get pizza.
Unfortunately, it's so deep that the kids are having trouble making a good sledding path, so they came in frustrated after playing today.
