Just finished my (third) reread of Red Rising and now my second reading of Golden Son.
The final book comes out Feb 6th, I think.
I had to go look it up, and it's the 9th, so very soon. I'm feeling optimistic about Morning Star - I was kind of meh on Red Rising because it was such a repeat of every other dystopian YA story that I felt like I'd read it before, but Golden Son was a lot more of it's own story and the writing quality in general was better.
I'm currently reading The Pillars of the Earth. It is long.
I just came back from vacation and read the Revenant and The Kind Worth Killing. I'm not reading Luckiest Girl in the World. I like them in order so far Kind Worth Killing, Revenent and Luckiest Girl. But I haven't finished the last yet.
I'm reading The Kind Worth Killing! I really like it so far.

Just finished Mary Coin (interesting story) and just started the 5th Wave, as suggested by one of my youth volunteers. It's pretty good YA fiction so far.
The best book I recently read was Nine Lives, which someone here suggested. It's a nonfiction book about New Orleans from Hurricane Betsy to Hurricane Katrina and some aftermath. I LOVED IT.
I'm switching between listening to the audiobook of The Name of the Wind, and reading Ready Player One. It's some mental gymnastics to swap from olden-days folklore/magic to futuristic virtual reality, lol, but I'm really enjoying them both.
I just bought a new one - The Book of James. I don't know how it ended up on my Wishlist but I read the description today when I was deciding what to buy next and it looked good so I'm giving it a shot.
