Oh man! That just hit me like a ton of bricks, too. I've shared before that DH has a heart thing, and when he told me the doc said absolutely no snow shoveling, I laughed and thought he was joking. Nope. It's called heart attack snow for a reason. Wha a terrible, terrible thing. No one is ever prepared, of course, but at 44, you just never even suspect. His poor wife and family. We found DH's thing by pure chance and feel grateful to at least know it's there, at least, although there is nothing we can do. Except no shovelling snow apparently. We bought a snowblower and I get for real pissd when I see him shoveling even the tiniest amount. Don't fucking do that!!! It's the ONE THING! I get so worked up, I actually gave myself a panic attack shoveling last time and thought *I* was going to have a heart attack. Ugh. I'm so sorry for your loss, and I'm sorry I made this about me.

Oh my gosh. I lost my coworker in the last big blizzard we had and I still think about him being gone too soon. It is so scary. I made dh take breaks while he was digging today. So sorry for your loss.
