So, S/o your post about fitting it in with a baby: my post ironman night consisted of sneaking around like a 90 year old ninja to avoid waking my 3 year old up in the hotel room. I drank a shake and took a shower and then crawled silently in to bed.
I do have a pic of my pre-shower naked sunburned and salt crusted back and the gnarliest hair. That one is in the vault.
ETA: my hair hair, not back hair, in case that was unclear

My husband had to undress me. Everything hurt. even my clothes.

Trying to pull a tight sports bra over your head after that?! No thank you please!

I have a few so sorry but I can't choose. I love them all for different reasons.
Me half way thru my 4th 5k in less than 12 hours, I went on to do another 3 more during a 24 hour relay. I was clearly feeling amazing after some sleep and coffee.
Please focus on my dog and his first and only 5k with a time of 28ish minutes
I think this one is funny. It was about mile 2 of my first half in probably 7-8 years. I had forgotten how it hurt... Also, sorry it's so small! I don't know how to fix it.
This is a picture from my first CrossFit competition taken in 2014. I was at least 30lbs heavier than I am now and was not a runner. I killed it on the weights and calisthenics portions but was clobbered during the run. This competition is what turned me into a runner and pushed me to lose weight and push myself further than I thought possible. This was my eye opening moment and I knew I wanted more for myself and as much as I despised running at the time I knew it was the next step in my fitness journey. Six months later I ran my first half marathon.
Two more. The podium shot is of the 2003 Cyclocross National Championships when I was 2nd in my division. The action shot is from Marietta, GA CX at one of my favorite venues from a few years ago.
