DS potty trained when he was almost 3 and did really well, with a week of learning when he needed to pee.
DD is only 23 months, but she wants to be on the potty all the time, and often pees and tries to poo. Today she learned how to take her diaper off, so I'm finding her nude in the bathroom a lot.
Do I just roll with this and go for potty training, since I have a nude toddler running around the house anyway! I'm sick and lazy, but I feel like maybe I should use the momentum to go for it.
My daughter just turned 2 and she is always taking off her diaper and trying to sit on the potty. Our problem is that she will wait until she's shit in her diaper, then will rip it off and try to use the potty. It's frustrating
My girls were each just over 2 when they potty trained. DD1 would have been earlier had we not moved & had a baby within 4 months pre-and post her turning 2.
I say go for it. DD potty trained at 20 months. It was awesome! She started like that. She would sit on the potty befor bath or sometimes after DS would go. She started taking her diaper off and going potty so went for it and she did great
Thanks for the encouragement! I'm going to give it a try this weekend, when DH is home to help. But yeah, if she's going to rip her diaper off, I probably should just run with it and stop being lazy.
DD did something similar when she was about 19 months. I thought it was impossible but humored her. She PT in 2 days. Some kids are just ready earlier. My boys, they are another story so I am in no way bragging, just letting you know its possible your DD is ready

Toddlers man. N did this once in her crib. I almost cried

DS does this. He will use the potty pretty regularly but has lately been taking off his poop filled diaper and trying to dump the poop in the toilet. Poop.everywhere. it's awful.

Oh no! I'm worried this is what my DD will do if I don't potty train her, because she poops, then runs to the bathroom. At least before she couldn't take her diaper off, so she'd wait in the bathroom for me. But now that she can take it off - yikes!
