Guys I just rear ended someone in the ducking preschool drop off line. WTF is wrong with me? I'm too embarrassed to show up for pick up in an hour. Fuck fuck fuck. I did not need this.
I'm sorry, but don't feel bad, it's such an easy thing to have happen glad it was minor and hope your insurance doesn't hassle you. Don't beat yourself up too much!!
Ugh that sucks, but it happens. I'm glad you're all ok. There are usually at least one of these types of accidents every year in the preschool parkinh lot.
I am so sorry. If it makes you feel better, I was pulling out of a parking space last month and was't paying close enough attention. It was DD2 first birthday party day and she needed a nap and I was emotional, etc. Anyway, I nearly backed into someone who was driving by (in my defense later I thought, well they weren't really paying attention either and were going pretty fast). Thanks to REALLY good brakes, I didn't make contact. However, the pregnant wife (pregnant with her first) got out and was screaming at me at first. The husband was super nice and at the end I ended up hugging the wife and apologizing for scaring her so badly. I felt like a moron the rest of the day though.
I'm glad everyone is ok. At least it happened on Friday. It will blow over and no one else will remember on Monday. I hope insurance isn't too much of a pain to deal with.
Thanks yall. I just needed some hair pats. I feel really stupid, but everyone is okay, and insurance seems to be taking care of it. I anticipate a major premium jump next year but oh well. I hate doing stupid shit though.
On another note, I don't think I really need to get new car seats in this case do I? I have 2 Diono Radians. The insurance company said that if there didn't seem to be any visual damage to the car seat, I didn't need to replace them. She said something like "the highway administration...new policy...something something." I'm doubtful. I guess I should call Diono or consult the manual.
