R: dd1 has been much better about playing in her own and doing her chores without complaining! So nice Aw: my house is sort of clean? V: we are at the clinic again. Dd2 has had a fever near 104 for 24 hrs, her rash is worse again and now she has a terrible cough. I'm hoping she doesn't have rsv again and that they have a good solution for her rash. She's been such a trooper!
So many sick kids right now! Hope your DD feels better dizzy.
I just have vents. Yesterday DD threw up all over me. Then she woke up at midnight with a 103.4 degree fever. No one slept through her coughing. Now of course she's running around like a loon because she feels great as long as she's medicated. I wish I could have sent her to school because I'm exhausted. Send coffee.
I have a vent. I have been keeping humans alive for 8 years and I still feel completely clueless when one of them gets sick. DS1 one woke up yesterday with what sounded like a croup cough. He is still coughing but it doesn't sound so barky, but now he is complaining that his throat hurts. I looked in his throat and it doesn't look like strep and he doesn't have a fever so I'm not sure if I should take him to the doctor today or wait and see how he feels tomorrow. If I keep him home tomorrow he will need a not from a doctor anyway. Also, his tonsils look a little big but he has naturally huge tonsils anyway so it's hard to tell. I don't know what to do!
R: DD is feeling better today and went to preschool and she didn't cry at drop-off
AW: I just took an nice long shower and it was amazing.
V: this might get long. I'm so frustrated right now. I've been working on moving my mom from her nursing home in AZ to one in NY (where I live and so does her mom and sister). Every time we think we have everything set, there is another obstacle. She has had stage 4 bed sores since April. They have not gotten any better and she has a couple new ones. She finally got a special bed that is supposed to help them heal. I called to make sure she would have the same bed in NY. Nope, Medicaid won't pay for it and the nursing home doesn't want it coming out of their budget. The bed cost $88 per day. Also, I've been trying to get in touch with her doctor with no luck. He did call me back at 10:30 at night, but I was sleeping and missed the call. The nursing home doesn't have his day time contact info or email. They said he won't give it to them. It is so strange.
Well it's not rsv officially, but she described it as an upper respiratory infection and gave us a renewed albuterol script, more antibiotic cream for her rash and a new oral antibiotic. Official diagnosis: strep in her butt and an ear infection. If her breathing worsens we are to go to the er, but there isn't much else to do that can't be done at home. Bring in the steamy oatmeal bath and for the love of all things chocolate, please someone bring me more alcohol (the drinking kind and the cleaning kind!). So tired and I know dh will be late coming home today due to the blizzard conditions that are setting in.

Aw- went and bought some Valentine crafts for Dd and we made a few things. I would like to get into crafting, but dang that crap is expensive!
V- sinus headache. Again...
R- going to sign up at anytime fitness.
V- we moved into a roach infested house I have been torn up about it. Would not have moved here had I known. They have sprayed twice and we have been deep cleaning/baiting/etc. It is like 95% better but I want them GONE! Next time we move, I hope to have more than a two week notice.
ETA: hope everyone's kiddos feel better! Sick kids are the worst & I know I always feel helpless.
Aw-meeting my bff for a post work pedi tonight and then getting home in time to give ds a bath and tuck him in
V-I feel like I'm getting a cold and it's not fair (said in toddler voice) lol. Seriously tho, glad my family is getting this out of our systems before our Disney trip with the Inlaws!
