That being said, please take some time for yourself, to figure out who you are again as a person, before you jump into another relationship. Regardless of how long you were checked out of the marriage before the split, you were still occupying the role of a wife.

Oh for sure. I've been seeing a fantastic therapist and it's been a great (and some days tough!) journey the last 5 months with her - working on me. I am in a great place right now - and while I don't plan on jumping into a relationship - I know that when I get there I'll be ready to do it! Dating and learning about myself has been a fun & enlightening process, that's for sure...
That's great! I feel the same. I've been separated for nine months now, and I've had the time of my life while not being in a relationship. I'm glad you're working on yourself in therapy.
