Yech.
Our financial planner's children are all named shades of green - Hunter, Forest, Sage, Kelly, etc. We figure maybe it's a good thing for a money person to be obsessed with green?

Wow. I am sort of impressed. But also rolling my eyes. And here I thought having everyone's name starting with the same letter was bad.

We had siblings at our school named Cinnamon and Sage. But this was Oklahoma, so we also had Sterling Silver and Chase Manhattan Banks. I'm not kidding. As well as a plethora of Crystals, Brandys, and Candys.
One of our neighbors has kids all named for his favorite college team, the Iowa Hawkeyes. Kinnick (the stadium), Hayden (former beloved football coach) and Gable (former wrestling coach).
My friend's husband and his three siblings all have A-names. His siblings have followed the tradition, so now all the grandkids also have A-names. My friend is pregnant and is feeling pressured to name the kid an A-name. I would not like that!

I went to HS with twins: Austin and Dustin.
I think the theme depends on what the theme is too. You could say biblical names are a theme, but they are so common and there are so many of them that noone seems to notice.
I went to school with 2 girls named Brandy and Sherry. Their dad was an alcoholic and they had a brother who was named after a drink too. I can't remember what it was though.
MIL did the same first letter as the first and last name (e.g. Scott Smith) for her first set of kids and the second set of kids. She swears she didn't do it on purpose.
I went to high school with 5 sisters that were all old testament names like Judith, Rachel, Sarah, etc.
I also went with four sists, Whitney, Courtney there was another one with 'ney at the end and then one that was named something that didn't rhyme like meredith.

I knew a girl who's name was Brooke Lynn Bridge. Why do people do this to their kids?! H and his siblings and dad all have the same initials...JKB. I find it dumb.

I know a Chaser who was named because of his dad's affinity for whiskey with a beer chaser.
Most of the Brandy (and Brandi, Brandey, etc) that I know were named that because one or both parents thought it sounded really classy.

DS is named Jack. Jameson was #2 on our list. We laughed that we can never use Jameson if we have another boy because people will think we're alcoholics
