that he is dropping out of school and wants to stay home and watch curious george all day.
UGH.
He's had a really hard time this year for some reason. It is the first year his brothers are at Montessori with him and I wonder if that is the reason.
What grade is he? I'm sorry he's having a rough go of it. Mine are still young enough to enjoy the whole excitement, so not looking forward to when they realize it's actually not that great.

He's 4.
The last 2 years at the school he's been very happy.
He's been sick a lot this month and I think that is part of the issue. He slept until 9:30 this morning so I just let him stay home.

Awww. Last year, after about 2 weeks of school and when the newness had started to wear off, my 5 yo told his Nana "Nana, no one told me I had to go EVERY DAY!". Yep, and for the next 13 years, too. And then you actually pay to go for at least 4 more years!
I'm sure when he feels better he'll be more excited about it. Even fun things aren't very appealing when you don't feel well and just want to watch TV all day.
