So I'm really trying to lose 30 lbs. I'm fluctuating so much lately...losing 4-6 lbs, gaining 4, losing 1, losing 3, gaining 4. I'm having issues with my period being regular and I think this has something to do with it. I'm 5 weeks late, not pregnant, and just patiently waiting for it to come.
I need some tips on the weightloss thing. I've been trying to eat better. I was able to grocery shop this month and bought some healthier things. I know I need to up my protein and stop my sugar consumption and exercise more.
I need a goal to work for, maybe. Like a pair of jeans or an outfit or a pair of boots to lust after for a reward. I want to lose 30 lbs by November 1. Is that even possible? Probably not.

Focus your efforts in one area, get that fixed up then move on to the next. For example, work on your diet first and then worry about amping up your exercise. Set realistic goals! 30 lbs in 2 months is not realistic. Go for 10-15. 1-2 pounds a week is doable.
Post what you eat in an average day and we can help you out.
I think 30 lbs by November is pretty extreme...that's barely over two months.
I think a lb or so a week is more realistic. Have you tried Jillian Michael's 30 DS? It's pretty intense. You can actually youtube it rather than having to buy it. I also swear by yoga and love her Yoga Meltdown which you can also get on youtube.
Can you give a breakdown of what your meals look like? Are you tracking them somewhere? Like myfitnesspal.com or sparkpeople? That will help keep you accountable.
30lbs is way too much to lose in 2 months. Why do you have this deadline? How about trying to lose 10lbs in those 2 months by making small changes?
Do you work out at all? I can suggest you to do Zumba. If you cannot pay for the classes, I would like to recommend my former Zumba instructors. They have a Youtube channel so you can just stream it from it.

I have been sporatic with eating. I have trouble eating regimented meals because of my past issues with food. I've been trying to eat breakfast which is usually a whole grain english muffin with some almond butter on it. Lunch doesn't happen usually, and dinner is a sandwich, or whole wheat pasta with veggies. I have to buckle down and actually try.

Yah, I'd try to plan it out. I take a lunch every day (brown bag it) and I also have a refrigerator at work. I keep snacks on hand in there like Greek yogurt, whole wheat tortillas, and string cheese.
I'd try to eat five meals a day. If you need something quick in teh morning, do the english muffin (100% whole wheat) with almond butter or PB and a banana or strawberry sliced on top.
Snack should be mid morning-maybe 100-150 calories.
Lunch you could do some sort of lunchmeat on a whole wheat wrap with veggies or a grilled chicken salad
Another snack around 3pm
Then dinner around 6 or 6:30pm
I make a lot of things ahead, like hardboiled eggs, or portion out chicken breasts for lunch for a few days during the week. I also have veggies and fruit chopped in the fridge so they're easy to grab. Sounds like you just need to do some planning and you should be ok.

You know this I am sure, but you need to eat regular meals and snacks. And that's a lot of carbs as far as what you posted.
I'm far from a dietician, but I'd say your body is in starvation mode and you won't lose weight if your body is fighting to get enough nutrition, kwim?

There's a lot to be said for getting exercise however you can. Get out for a walk each day (or a run, if you can). Do whatever exercises you can with what you've got (burpees, squats, lunges, pullups, handstands, situps, etc).
Greek yogurt is one of the best things I've done for my diet. I have one every morning and it helps keep me full, it helps me build muscle, and it's super tasty. My fave is Chobani blood orange.
Don't be surprised/discouraged if you don't see instant results. Work hard at it for a good month and see where it takes you.
