Yesterday it was almost 50 degrees...this morning we woke up to 2 inches of snow on the ground. Never change New England weather, never change, lol!
I was up until 2am and no snow. Woke up at 7 and we had a bunch. Kids don't have school but I am in work. My son actually wore shorts to school twice this week since we were up near 60. I think New England weather is especially crazy this year

I need to have a talk with H about some things and I don't want to because I know it will lead to an argument which will lead to me crying and I just don't have the energy to deal with it.
Also, my mom and I are having a mom/daughter day tomorrow and I'm more excited then I thought I would be. It's been a long time since my mom and I have spent time together with just the two of us. We always have at least one kid with us, if not all 4 kids AND my sister. It'll be nice to spend some time with just her.

Isn't it weird?! We haven't had a snow day yet this year, not even today. Unheard of!

I had to get Allie from school early yesterday. She was running a fever and looked awful. I kept her home today. She's bouncing off the walls and acting better than normal. No fever or anything. The weirdest virus ever
I'm extremely exhausted this morning, did not sleep well last night.
I'm sitting at the dr office for over an hour and haven't been called to the back. I'm scared something is seriously wrong with me, I have been feeling really sick lately.

Ok one more of the baby donkey. One of the little boys at preschool brought this for her. I can't with the cute, look at this. I need a mini farm too. Need.

Now I'm excited! If NYC & the sequined dress taught me anything it's that if you just own it, you're never overdressed. So I'm going for it. I feel so grown up. It was kind of spendy, $70 rental, so I'll need to find a statement necklace or earrings from Target or somewhere cheap. I'm going to wear gold strappy heels I already own.
So glad it's Friday. It's chilly and BF said we can have a fire in the fireplace tonight, yay!
I'm going to really try to be productive today. Really.
I really like that dress! Also, I always would rather be overdressed than underdressed. Check jcrew factory or forever 21 for necklaces. I've gotten a lot of cheap nice ones there.

My atheist BIL complained to DH for not being chosen Godfather for DD's Baptism into the Catholic Church this Sunday. Lol ok BIL. It sounds like he is kind of jealous that we asked my (Catholic) brother because he also was questioning why we didnt ask our other BIL, who is also Catholic. Sorry BIL, not your kids, you get no vote.
School was canceled for A this morning which was kind of a bummer since they were going to celebrate Chinese New Year. She only goes every other week so is also going to miss the Valentines party. Good news is she had a great time at her aunts house last night and got a late Christmas gift so she's still way excited about that. We lost power a few hours ago, really hope it comes back soon. A has already drawn a picture and hung it up to "remind us what it was like when we had electricity, in case we forget". I'm just worried because bfs aunt gave him a ton of his favorite Portuguese foods yesterday and I don't want anything to go bad. Enjoying how beautiful it looks outside though.
“With sorrow—for this Court, but more, for the many millions of American women who have today lost a fundamental constitutional protection—we dissent,”

I admit I was kind of annoyed at the fact that my bro and SIL picked other friends for the GM GF of both my niece and nephew, we were Christian at the time, first set one was Catholic other was not. Second set both Catholics.
But now H and I are atheists, so I guess they made the right choice in not wanting us to be spiritual leaders (lol)
I just finished my first week at my new job and it seems to be going really well. I really, really, like everyone that I work with and think that I like the job. It's going to be really nice having a set paycheck without having to worry about commission. The benefits are awesome, too. I found myself wondering today, though, if I'll ever talk to one of you MLers on the phone (call center) and not know it (not that there is anyway I WOULD know.) /random thought.
Also, unrelated, do any of you belong to LA Fitness? I'm considering joining and wanted input.
I just got done watching Magic Mike XXL. it was way better then I expected. When I turned it off the regular TV shows came back on and I went straight from Channing Tatum dancing to Bernie Sanders yelling. (wilted) Major boner killer.
**although in deference to Bernie I got the video from the library, paid for with my tax dollars.
The Last Five Years is now available for streaming on Netflix. It may only be interesting to Broadway fans (Jalapeñomel), but, crap, was it good! Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordon are both excellent, and considering they are the only two performances, it's pretty amazing. And, yes, I was sad to learn Jeremy Jordon was not the JJ of The Right Kind of Love fame from BH 90210.

So I watched it, and although the both Kendrick and Jordan did a great job, I thought it poorly translated to a movie.

Ooh, I'm glad you responded! I think it would be something you'd have to know ahead of time to follow. I think some of the transitions were awkward and didn't place the shifting narratives into the timeline well. But, I though the production design was so pretty. The interesting thing about the movie versus the original cast recording (because I haven't seen a stage version), is how much easier it is to pick a side. Maybe that's Kendrick's charm. It just felt more lopsided to me.

And Schmuel is still as bad as ever.
The music is lovely, and I love the narrative aspect of it. I felt the movie transitioned too much, almost to the point of distraction. But I'd love to see the two of them do it live, or anything, because I thought they had great chemistry.
