DS always wears pjs to bed - I don't care if he wore clean clothes to bed, but I wouldn't want him wearing clothes he's been wearing all day. He gets into too much stuff outside for me to be okay with that. He also showers every night before bed so it's the perfect time to change into clean pajamas.
Regular pj's. Although its getting tougher to find sets for my oldest son. I can usually find pj bottoms fine but no tops. So he will sometimes do pj bottoms and a plain white undershirt or a thermal top on cold nights. I keep house pretty cool overnight. So even with pj's they each have ever 1-2 blankets on top of their sheets.
So I'm the only awful mom who lets their kid sleep in their clothes? We own lovely pajamas but DD always wants to sleep in her clothes. She wears leggings every single day and we shower in the morning, so I'm fine with it. She wears pajamas maybe once a month.
I don't think you are awful.
Staying in clothes just has never even come up for us.

Dd sleeps in a pull up only. She has a few nightgowns she occasionally likes but she hates anything fitted to sleep. We keep our heat set at 72 so getting cold isn't a problem. Ds likes pj pants only or sleeping in whatever track pants he wore that day if it's not a shower night. I can't remember the last time I bought kids pajamas. We always get a few pairs as gifts and that's all we ever need since they are worn so infrequently.
No, like I said my oldest asks to sleep in her clothes all the time. Most of the time I let her.
I'm kind of laughing at the "we only wear matching pjs," but my kids are older and I'm not fighting about what pajamas they wear. When they were little enough to not care, they matched.
Yes! For whatever reason dd prefers to make her own sets. Anna and Elsa top with Paw Patrol pants. It's not a battle worth fighting. We don't care most days what she wears to school either (as long as it is weather appropriate).

When you say "matching" pjs, do you mean the siblings match or the top and bottom match?
DD wears target's princess night gowns or matching set pajamas. She's very particular about her clothes. I don't think I would go through the effort of matching siblings but maybe.

Ok, I am kind of dying laughing here. I match their PJ tops and bottoms up when I fold laundry, but the thought that I would have my shit together enough to actually coordinate all three of my kids wearing identical pajamas every night is a hoot. That happens once a year, on Christmas. Most of the time I'm patting myself on the back if I can get everyone out the door wearing shoes.
Oooooo, my kids do have matching pj's to each other. And they do sometimes plan to wear together.
But it's more like: gee, target has 1 kind of star wars set of pj's and both boys are obsessed with star wars so I get one for each to avoid conflict. Haha
DS wears athletic shorts or PJ pants and no shirt. DD has 2 or 3 pair of matching pjs but also has other random pants and shirts in her drawer that she sleeps in. She mixes them up and rarely sleeps in the matching pjs.

you gotta pick your battles, some people have weird hills. I try not to judge because I have an only but I thought it sounded like a lot of work haha
