I *think* my husband got up super early and is painting our girls bedroom. I've been working on it and it's taking forever. I'm impressed at the moment Today dd1 has a play date and a Home Depot project to go do so I'll hang out with the littles. Today a bunch of neighbors are coming over for pizza. I need to clean my house a little bit. Tomorrow in solo with the kiddos for at least the morning so we will do Sunday school and maybe a treat at the coffee shop. I'd like to go sledding, but I need to find someone to watch the baby for a bit.
H finished his trial yesterday, thank god, so we will probably do something fun today. DD is still sleeping, and H is headed back to bed for a bit, so I don't know what.
DD had a fun stomach bug/bronchitis/pink eye combo this week and now I do, too. I assume DH will have it by tomorrow. So, rest and recover are our only plans.
Last night we had so much fun, we went to a friends house and played Telestrations, I can't remember the last time we laughed so hard. Today is pretty quiet. We are having a chinook so it's pretty warm out today, so we will be taking advantage of that. Maybe even BBQ tonight.
We promised dd we would go to the Home Depot kids project. We need to keep working on our closet organizer. Should have know this one weekend project would take all dang month!
Tonight we have a birthday party. Tomorrow we are going to my sister's to watch the Super Bowl.
We're not doing much today. DD is still getting over whatever bug she picked up last week. But DH is back after 5 days of solo parenting so I'm pretty excited. Oh, I forgot...DH and I are going to a wedding reception for a friend who eloped. Is a casual celebration at a local brewery so it should be fun
Tomorrow we are hoping to make it to the zoo since we didn't go last weekend like we had planned.
Sorry abs that sucks. Hope she feels better and you ALL get rest.
H and I are dropping ds off at in laws for the morning so we can visit my grandma (she has dementia) at her assisted living and then have a kid free breakfast and kid free errands. Tonight after ds goes to bed, we have a sitter coming so we can grab a nice dinner date night. Much needed!
Tomorrow just chill for super bowl and do massive laundry. And finally plan ds bday party

Our niece is coming over today, and I think DH is taking all three of the small people out for a bit. And a realtor friend found a house he wants us to look at, so we'll probably go look at it today. It sounds like exactly what we've been talking about but with a pretty steep price tag. Excited to see it, though. DD also has a birthday party to go to, and we are going out for dinner for my FIL's birthday.
I just heard ds1 tell his friend Santa is bringing him jet packs so he can fly and x-Ray vision for Christmas so I have a little less than a year to figure that one out. Other than that I've been solo parenting because DH has been OOT for work. He arrives this afternoon for a few hours before he peaces out for a concert. I will be treating myself to cookies n cream ice cream tonight. And I hope he's not too jet lagged and wiped from the concert tomorrow but I have a feeling he will be a total slug. I might head to BRU and trade in for a convertible car seat for ds2. Also need to make a grocery run for our small super bowl party tomorrow. I should stay home because it's a mess all over the place (super bowl is happening just a few miles away and its absolute chaos all over town).
DH helped DD fix the wheels on their imagination destination project.
Tomorrow is boys scout day at church.
I have been taken over by mounds of laundry I need to tackle that.
One of my kids (has a parent who fights every move I make) has a new plan to help him in inclusion (that he shouldn't be in) it requires a ton of work from me so I will go in for a few hours tomorrow.
I spent the morning re-doing our budget now that DH is doing contracts instead of a salaried position, setting up new health insurance, fun stuff like that. Then we went to Walmart just to look at toys and get out of the house. Now DH and DD are asleep on the couch and DS is watching Word World. Lazy times over here.
Tomorrow I hope we'll do something fun. I also really, really want to figure out how to get a day away from the kids. Running the odd errand without them on the weekend just isn't enough for me to recharge my patience!
