Can anyone recommend their active/waking sandals?
We are going to Disney this summer and I prefer not to wear sneakers. I know I've heard of Teva, Keen, and Merrell, but I'd like to keep the cost around/under $50 and most of my searches are turning up prices upwards of $75 for those. Any other good ones that you love...?
Do you have any outlets near you? Merrels can be $50 at the outlets, also Columbia has some sort of light hiker walking shoe at their outlet than can be a good price. I use Nike Frees for walking and travel, they can be $50 or less at the outlets.
I love my Tevas. Prior to those I had Nikes and they were good, too. To me, a good comfortable walking sandal is worth spending a bit more; both of my last pairs of walking sandals lasted literally YEARS.
Birkenstocks. If you get them on sale or don't get the leather ones, they are cheaper. I love them and the newer styles are really cute. I have a white pair of the traditional 2 strap style and a red pear of gizas.
I have teva olowahus and keen whisper sandals. As comfy and quick drying as the Keens are, it depends on my outfit. The tevas are basic and go with everything, I have black and brown.
I am planing on getting a pair of Birkenstock gizas this spring.
