I like to refer to him as "smoosh face" but upon learning he had a cleft palate (last week) I've had to stop making fun of his nose :/ I've always hated him and it drives me crazy that Broncos fans embraced him like they have. Also, there are a lot of stories about him and his wife. They aren't the goodie goodies they're made out to be.
I haven't seen much outside the hgh unless you count people speculating on how their kids were conceived (ick) and charities. Any sources?

No published sources, but a lot of people who run in similar circles (I'm in CO) His wife has a 2nd home in one of our most upscale neighborhoods and a live in boyfriend. And Peyton comes very close to missing the plane on every road trip because he's so busy having sex with other women.
Dude, it's ksun. She makes hating CO her job despite living here for years.
If you knew me (and we used to be good friends, no?) you'd know that I was a huge Peyton Manning fan for years. Huge. And I love all the awesome beer in CO. It's mostly the people I don't like.
I like Cam Newton a lot, and I must admit that the Panthers have much nicer looking uniforms than the Broncos. But also, I always thought Peyton was so much better than one superbowl ring, and should really win one in Denver, too. I mean, it's kind of unfair that Eli has won twice. And Newton, with the way he's playing, will likely have other chances. Now? I'm really reconsidering whether I want Peyton to win...
There's only one football player I hate more than Peyton Manning, and that's Eli Manning. I can't wait to watch the Panthers and Cam Newton beat Peyton's ass tomorrow!!
Do you hate both of them more than Ben Roethlisberger? I ask as a Steelers fan. I am pretty surprised that nobody in this thread has yet said, "Yeah, but at least he isn't Ben."
Well up until the latest reports on Peyton, my hatred for him was just the overall douchey personality and the fact he gets compared to Tom Brady all the time but is considered a saint. My hatred for Eli is 100% just me (and all of NE) being butthurt that he won TWO Superbowls against us, despite not being that great of a QB, and one of those times after an undefeated season.
Ben is just an awful person, so of course he is (one of) the worst. But there isn't as much of a rivalry between NE and the Steelers so Ben doesn't get talked about as much.

That's probably what Dan Marino thought
I won't lie - as I typed that, Dan Marino crossed my mind!
But I'm a Bills fan, so the Dolphins not going to another Superbowl with Marino isn't something I lose sleep over.
Yeah, I had someone who clearly didn't read the article saying it looks like the woman just wants attention - but even after several people tried to explain what the article was really about she still didn't really connect the dots.
Well, shit. He was about the only thing I liked about the Broncos.
Can I still like TJ Ward? Or CJ Anderson - his squeaky voice kills me.
Von Miller. Top notch player and person. He started his own charity to get glasses for youngsters who need them and can't afford them. And he rocks a bow tie like nobody else.

I almost got into with FIL when he started carrying on about what a good guy Manning is, after learning about this. There is no reasoning with a man who claims that sushi is a fad. I quickly finished my beer and escaped to the park with my girls for a breather.
I hope Cam and Carolina come back strong next season.

Seconded. It's the most comfortable place I've lived, and I've lived in a shitton of places.
Whatever. Anyone who doesn't like people there isn't worth my time
I remember when I first moved to Colorado from Vegas and I realized I had finally found my people. DH and I periodically discuss moves for his career, and the awesomeness of Colorado always keeps us here.
Damn it, CEP! I LIKE PEYTON. LEAVE ONE THING ALONE.
Now I'm off to actually read it.
It's bad. I wish I was surprised, but seems like almost every famous person we want to admire has a skeleton in their closet that causes us to look at them with a new eye. That said, I'm still glad the Broncos won, because Peyton is certainly not the sum of the entire team and hasn't been for the entire season - the defense did most of the work to get them there. (Can I get a shout from KateAggie for MVP Von???)
I'm just hoping Brock Osweiler is still as pure as the driven snow.
I think I read an article talking about all this like a few years ago on this board so I'm surprised that so many people are finding out about this for the first time.

Do you mean the rumors that she isn't the mother of the twins?
“It became common knowledge on campus that Dr. Naughright was the athletic trainer referred to by the defendants in Manning,” the lawsuit stated. As a result, she “was treated differently by both students and colleagues and her employment situation at Florida Southern College became untenable, which ultimately resulted in her leaving the employment of Florida Southern College.”
This is the part that makes me the maddest. And very glad I didn't end up going to Florida Southern (was offered a scholarship in Sports Mgmt there, long before this happened). The victim can't find a safe place to work at a Methodist school? Fuck that shit.
I know Peyton is an asswipe, but this part was new to me.

I'm getting really tired of the Peyton Manning apologists on my FB page, and the Cam Newton hate. There is such an undertone of racism to the whole thing.
ETA - I just called out someone on FB on my page so I'm sure that I'm going to get a lot of white tears about how immature Newton is and how the media going after him for his press conference has nothing to do with how black men are portrayed in the media.
